What a privilege it is to be alive in a moment when we have access to so much expert knowledge. The dark side of this access is the unfiltered nature in which algorithms and search engines feed us advice and guidance.

Our expert clinical team has co-created a series of learning journeys for frontline staff, empowering your people with a series of themed skill sets. One of these is our Psychological First Aid journey.

What is Psychological First AId?

Psychological First Aid (PFA) is a simple, evidence-informed approach that helps people cope in the immediate aftermath of stress, crisis, or trauma. It is not therapy, but focuses on practical support, including:

  • listening without judgement
  • ensuring safety
  • calming distress
  • identifying needs
  • connecting people to appropriate help

In the workplace, PFA equips employees and managers to respond early to emotional strain, burnout, conflict, or critical incidents before these escalate into absenteeism, errors, or mental health crises. Training staff in PFA builds psychological safety, resilience, and trust, improves team functioning, and reduces long-term costs by supporting wellbeing proactively rather than reactively.

Our learning journeys are built within Whatsapp chats. Using this simple channel  allows for engaging, obstacle-free learning that is colourful, enriched with images, voice notes and videos and enables us to collect and track data along the way.

Other current other learning journeys include:

  • Sexual health
  • Early childhood development
  • Addiction
  • Mental Health
  • Heart and Metabolic health
